Hey lurkers! Come out of the woodwork!

Apparently, it is International De-lurking Week in the blogosphere (thank you to my fellow Nashville mommy-blogger Jessie Weaver (AKA Vanderbilt Wife) for informing us all of that!)

So, if you are a "lurker" on this or any other blogs, it's time to come out of the woodwork (at least for this week) and leave a comment to let everybody know you're here! If you delurked yourself a long time ago, still leave a comment--I'd love to hear from you!

Tell me how you found The Parsonage Family, what kind of posts you like best, what you'd like to see more of, or just leave an anonymous "Hi!"

I'm trying to make a practice of commenting more on the blogs I read, and of responding to comments left here on this blog. I would (and frequently do) blog even if no one responds, because I like to formulate my thoughts through writing and to document our fun little family life in stories and pictures, but there's also a great opportunity for interaction and connection that I want to take better advantage of.

I also want to take this opportunity just to say thanks for reading. I started blogging in 2006, just to give this new trend a try, and since Kate has been born, I've written almost twice as many posts as I did in the years before she was born! I like theological reflections and ranting about church stuff, but I'm much more eloquent and prolific in the matters of mommyhood, it seems. I hope this blog brings a smile to your face and (occasionally) a new thought to your head.

I'm not a lurker, obviously, but comments are just nice to get :)

That being said, I love your posts! Honest, funny, direct. I dig 'em!

I'm not a lurker, either, but I also don't remember how I found your blog. Maybe from a Kelly's Korner "Show Us Your Life" linky?
I'm a pastor's wife and "new" mommy, too, so I enjoy reading posts about Kate (she's close to my Katie Bug's age), your journey of faith, and churchy issues.

Hello! I'm not really a lurker - and I too need to get more in the habit of responding to comments... and commenting more on the blogs I read!

It's been so much fun watching kate grow up from a distance and getting a foretaste of what parenthood and church life might be like.

I'm a lurker. I'm Becky, a Butler friend! I love to feel like I'm keeping up with you and Matt and baby Kate even though I've never met 2/3 of you. Happy de-lurker week!

I'm a bit late on coming out of the lurker woodwork, but I thought I'd post. I got here through Kristen's blog and went to HS with Matt. Last year I married a pastor and we're expecting our first child, so you give me plenty of good reading! So thank you for that! I especially love your earliest posts after Kate was born as we're about to go through all that fun ourselves! Thanks for letting me lurk!
